How to play
- Ask for a rank. Tap a rank you already hold and choose an opponent to ask for it — you can only ask for ranks in your hand.
- Take it or Go Fish. If they have that rank they give you all of it and you ask again; otherwise you draw a card from the pool.
- Collect the most sets. Four of a kind makes a set. When the cards run out, the player with the most sets wins.
About Go Fish
Go Fish is the friendly memory-and-matching card game everyone learns as a kid — and here you play it against one to three computer opponents. On your turn you pick an opponent and ask them for a rank you already hold, like “any Kings?”. If they have some they hand them all over and you ask again; if not, they say “Go Fish” and you draw from the pool. Collect all four cards of a rank and you’ve made a set. When the cards run out, whoever has the most sets wins. No signup.
Frequently asked questions
On your turn you ask one opponent for a specific rank — but only a rank you already hold. If they have any cards of that rank they give you all of them and you take another turn; if they don’t, they say “Go Fish” and you draw a card from the pool.
A set, sometimes called a book, is all four cards of the same rank. As soon as you collect the fourth card of a rank it’s set aside and scored, and the player with the most sets at the end wins.
No. You may only ask for a rank that’s already in your hand, which is why only the ranks you hold are tappable.
If the card you draw from the pool happens to be the exact rank you just asked for, you get to take another turn — a small lucky bonus.
On the harder difficulty the computer pays attention to what each player asks for and uses that memory to target ranks it knows you hold. On Easy it plays more randomly.
