How to play
- Slide into the gap. Drag any block into the empty space next to it; blocks move horizontally or vertically only and never rotate or overlap.
- Open a route. Shuffle the smaller blocks around to clear a path beneath the big red 2×2 block.
- Free the big block. Work the 2×2 block down to the gap at the bottom centre to solve the level and move on to the next.
About Klotski
Klotski is the classic sliding-block escape puzzle. A small board is packed with blocks of different sizes, and one of them is a big 2×2 square that has to reach the exit at the bottom centre. Blocks never rotate and never overlap; they only slide into the empty space beside them, one move at a time. Because the board is so tightly packed, freeing the big block means patiently shuffling the smaller pieces around it to open a route down. The famous opening layout takes over a hundred moves to crack. No signup, no download.
