How to play

  1. Find the free tiles. Free tiles are highlighted — they have nothing on top and an open left or right side.
  2. Match a pair. Tap a free tile to select it, then tap a second free tile with the same face to remove both.
  3. Clear the board. Removing pairs exposes the tiles below. Keep matching until every tile is gone to win.

About Mahjong Solitaire

Mahjong Solitaire is the classic tile-matching puzzle. Tiles are stacked in layers, and your job is to clear the whole board by removing matching pairs. A tile is “free” (you can select it) only when nothing sits on top of it and at least one side — left or right — is open. Tap a free tile, then tap a second free tile with the same face, and the pair vanishes, exposing the tiles beneath. Every board this game deals is generated to be solvable, so there’s always a way through if you plan ahead. Pick Easy, Normal or Hard to change the size and number of layers.
