How to play
- Swap two gems. Tap a gem, then tap an adjacent gem to swap them — only swaps that make a match are allowed.
- Clear lines of three. Three or more of the same colour in a row or column clear, and the gems above fall to fill the gaps.
- Chain cascades to the target. Falling gems can form new matches for combo points — reach the target score before you run out of moves.
About Match 3
Match 3 is the classic gem-swapping puzzle. The board fills with coloured gems; tap a gem, then tap one next to it to swap the pair — but only swaps that line up three or more of a colour are allowed. Matched gems clear, the gems above fall into the gaps, fresh gems drop in from the top, and any new lines they form clear too, so a single smart swap can trigger a cascade of combos for extra points. Frequently asked questions
Tap a gem to select it, then tap a gem directly next to it to swap the two. If the swap lines up three or more of the same colour in a row or column, those gems clear; if it would not make a match, the swap is undone.
When matched gems clear, the gems above drop down to fill the gaps and new gems fall in from the top. If those falling gems form another line of three, it clears too — a cascade. Each step in a cascade is worth more, so one well-placed swap can rack up combo points.
Each game has a target score shown at the top. Reach it to win. If the board runs out of any valid matching swap before you get there, the game ends with your final score.
Easy is a 6×6 board with 5 gem colours, Normal is 7×7 with 6 colours, and Hard is 8×8 with 7 colours. More colours make matches scarcer and the target harder to reach.
