How to play
- Place a tan. Tap a piece to select it, then drag it into the grey target outline; pieces snap to the grid when you let go.
- Rotate and flip. Use Rotate to turn the selected piece in 45-degree steps, and Flip to mirror it - useful for fitting the parallelogram.
- Fill the silhouette. Cover the whole outline with all seven tans, with no gaps and no overlaps, to solve the shape and move on to the next.
About Tangram
Tangram is the ancient Chinese shape puzzle made of seven flat pieces - the tans: five triangles of three sizes, a square and a parallelogram. Together they always add up to the same area, and the challenge is to arrange all seven, with no gaps and no overlaps, to fill a given outline. You drag each piece into the grey silhouette, rotate it in 45-degree turns and flip the parallelogram when a shape needs its mirror image. Every target here is built from a real arrangement of the seven tans, so each one can genuinely be filled. No signup, no download.
