About Yahtzee
Yahtzee is the classic five-dice game, now solo and right in your browser. Each turn you roll the dice up to three times, tapping the ones you want to keep between rolls, then choose one of thirteen scoring categories to bank your dice in. Fill the upper section (ones through sixes) to chase the 35-point bonus, and aim for the big combos below — three and four of a kind, a full house, small and large straights, the 50-point Yahtzee, and Chance as a catch-all. The game runs for thirteen turns until every category is filled, then totals your score. No signup, no download, nothing uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
On each turn you roll five dice up to three times, holding the dice you like between rolls. After rolling you pick one of the thirteen scoring categories to record your dice in. Once all thirteen categories are filled, over thirteen turns, the game adds up your total.
The upper section is ones through sixes (the sum of those dice). The lower section is three of a kind and four of a kind (sum of all dice), full house (25), small straight (30), large straight (40), Yahtzee — five of a kind (50), and Chance (the sum of all dice).
If the total of your ones through sixes reaches 63 or more, you get a 35-point bonus added automatically. Sixty-three is roughly three of each number.
A full house is three of one number and two of another, worth 25. A small straight is four dice in a run (like 2-3-4-5), worth 30. A large straight is all five in a run, worth 40.
