About this tool
Record your voice straight from your microphone without installing an app. Press start and your browser captures the mic to a compact WebM/Opus file using the built-in MediaRecorder, with a live timer ticking while you talk. Because the audio is assembled on your own device, the recording is never uploaded, so voice notes, memos and narration stay private to your machine. When you stop, the clip appears in an audio player you can play back and download. In Advanced options you can pick a different recording format when your browser supports one.
